DEADCODE are a power trio from Perth, Western Australia bringing together over 30 yrs of experience writing and playing heavy music and showcases a style of angry, down tuned groove based metal that incorporates elements of industrial and punk.
With a foundation of groove and super heavy riffs over industrial influenced drum rhythms and dynamics DEADCODE are stripped back and hit hard.
BIO
DEADCODE is both new and old. Born out of many years of informal jams between a trio of long term musical collaborators, producing ideas that coalesced and evolved into songs over time. Eventually the thought of getting serious and taking the music to the stage led to the creation of a fully fledged band.
Despite being a newly formed entity DEADCODE brings together over 30 yrs of experience writing and playing heavy music and showcases a style of angry, down tuned groove based metal that incorporates elements of industrial and punk.
All 3 members having previously played in Perth death metal scene founders iNFeCTeD and have a long history of playing together. As well as that, members have played in other bands including DOWNER, MHORGL, PCTHUG, BLOODLUST and more, exhibiting a variety heavy styles.
DEADCODE bring a sound that is influenced by many old school bands such as CARCASS,NAPALM DEATH, BOLT THROWER and OBITUARY, which highlights a foundation of groove and super heavy riffs over industrial influenced drum rhythms and dynamics.
The end of 2025 saw the band go into the studio to record with producer/engineer Andrew Wright at Forest Studios. The result was the band’s 3 song debut EP ‘Fight It Out’ which was released in April 2026.
